New Partners at the Russian-Iranian Forum for the Development of Economic Cooperation in the New Reality.

The Iranian side was represented by the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Russian Federation Mr. Kazem Jalali and the heads of ministries. There was great interest in the meeting, the congress hall of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation was overcrowded. 
The program included a variety of issues: the modernization of cargo processing facilities at the mouth of the Volga River and the possibility of transshipment to sea vessels to ports of Iran; payments in local currencies, bi-directional food supplies; organization of new joint ventures in Russia and Iran, the development of tourism. 
The Iranian side is interested in developing cooperation with Russia in various fields: food industry, medicine and pharmaceutics, light industry, petrochemistry, security systems. 
It should be noted that the fire protection systems (arc fault protection devices) were separately mentioned by the head of the Russian-Iranian Business Council as one of the promising areas of cooperation. And further talks with the Iranian side confirmed the importance of introducing this technology in the Islamic Republic.
There is confidence that this and subsequent events with colleagues from Iran will open new opportunities for joint business, improvement of fire safety, first of all.
